You Make Me Happy greeting card

I dig this card. As much as I like this aesthetic, I had never really made anything with that romantic Victorian feel. I am glad I did! And who doesn’t love a cute sparkly bow?   For sale here

Sweet Memories greeting card

This card was born from a desire to use up some materials I had been hanging on to for way too long. If I use them up I get to buy new stuff, right!? It was made as part of my family-themed collection but it could be given as a birthday or a just because…

thank you greeting card – You’re the Best

This card was made to send in to Stampington for a colour challenge (olive). It was a nice chance to use my Art-C sentiment stamps. I had tried to emboss the envelope but the ink I used was too quick-drying. Rookie mistake 😦 Here is the other card I made for this same colour challenge…

Make A Wish birthday greeting card

This card was the first birthday card I made this year: I love the embossed candles and sentiment. It really added the wow factor to this card for me. The colours give it a masculine feel, and the flourishes give it a feminine feel. Simple and elegant.

painted composition notebooks

I am no great painter, so to use the neat metallic acrylic paint I had I decided to paint up some composition notebooks. I dig the results. Here is a quick run-down of what I did:   Here are some others that I have done: If you like what you see,  they are available here!

SIP challenge #35

Hello! This week’s Stamp Ink Paper challenge #35 is a sketch challenge! It looked intimidating at first, but I am glad I persevered 😀 I apologize for the lighting in the photo. Today was the first day in a while we had sunshine, but we also had fog when I took this so it made…

CYCI #107

It’s time for Can You Case It challenge #107. It’s a colour challenge this week – kraft, purple and white!   I picked up the flower months ago and have been waiting for a chance to use it. It was originally a cream colour, but I used a spray ink on it and the card…

love greeting cards 2016 – last batch!

These are the last ones I had to make this year. The more I make, the more experience I get and the more knowledge I gain to make a card come together. Of course they are not going to be perfect, but if they were there would be nothing to strive for the next time!…

love greeting cards 2016 – assorted

These are thankfully a bit more elaborate than the ones I made way back at the beginning of January. They have a more romantic feel to them, thanks mostly to the fancy embellishments I’m sure 🙂

Can You Case It #106

Here is what I cooked up for the Can You Case It challenge #106. This card is a departure from what I normally make, from the magazine pages to the numerous panels. I have to say it is growing on me the more I look at it 😀 Thanks for stopping by!

love greeting cards 2016 – Perfect For Me

I am not the biggest fan of quotes on things, but sometimes they just seem to work. Especially when you add glitter glue to them… (You can’t see it well in the photo but the second PERFECT has glitter glue on it.)
