CTD 394 -You Stuck With It!

Some classy colours are on the docket this week at Color Throwdown: I had a lot of fun making this one: It’s kind of ombre, with a cactus stamped and cut out, placed on pop dots for dimension. The “Congrats!” is stamped, and the bottom sentiment is hand written. This card is available here.

CASology 199 – Headed West

Another road trip card for this week’s CASology cue card: Paper stickers and road washi tape complete this card. A journal card is the colourful back panel. This card is available here.

SIP 49 – burlap flowers

It’s a floral challenge over at Stamp Ink Paper this week: In my ongoing effort to go through older supplies, I took out the last of my burlap flower stickers. I used spray ink to colour them. The back panel is dry embossed and had punched corners and inked edges. The sentiment (Art-C) is stamped….

APWP 74 – Road Trip!

The masculine inspiration challenge this week at Always Playing With Paper was this beautiful photo: Unfortunately I did not have much in the way of farm-related materials, but I did have a red vehicle: I used some road washi tape with a couple different sticker set (Jolees and Recollections I think). Makes me want to…

CYCI 121 -purple bird

The Can You Case It challenge this week is a colour challenge: My card for this week did not turn out how I first imagined when I was thinking about it, but I can live with how it turned out 🙂 The “mustard” spray ink turned out a bit darker than I would like but…

C.T.D.393 – floral notes

The challenge at Color Throwdown this week is great! What a combination: I made a point of using pieces I had already prepped but had not yet used so my card is very simple: The background panel is from a Stampington magazine, but I did not note the artist before I used it. Sorry 😦…

CASology 198 – stencil

I am loving CASology challenges. I need to be reminded that less can be more! The cue card this week is stencil: I had some good options, but I decided to break out my Momenta Art-C film strip stencil: I used silver spray ink with the stencil. Silver and films go together, no? I popped an…

S.I.P. 48 – Sing and Rejoice

The colour challenge at Stamp Ink Paper is very pretty this week: I have had a stack of fortune cookie fortunes just waiting to be put on cards, and this one needed a final touch so it got one: Thanks for stopping by! This card is available here.

APWP 73 – boho floral

The Always Playing With Paper challenge this week is an inspiration one: I went with the colours as opposed to the items: I don’t know if it was the old stamps or the ink and paper combination, but I kind of like how smokey the flowers turned out. Thanks for stopping by! This card is…

CYCI 120 – sketch

It’s a deceptively simple sketch challenge at Can You Case It this week: All of the entries are wonderful takes on what may seem a simple sketch, but can be quite difficult to pull together. Here was my attempt at it (haha!): This week I was determined to use up pieces I had already set…

Thank You Give Away

Hello! I have hit 55 followers on Instagram. It’s my favourite number, and in honour of the milestone I am holding a small give away. These are four small goodies from the wonderful Flow magazine, a magazine for paper lovers. Here is what is included: 30 Day Notebook: Die cut shapes (not adhesive, but easy…

DIY planner dividers

Hi there! I finally am getting to a planner post 😀 I was bitten by the productivity bug last week and on top of all the cards I made, I also made some dividers and a marker for my new Recollections personal sized planner I picked up on Friday. I started with papers that I…
