CASology 229 – toast

Hello! Let’s ring in the new year with this two week-long challenge over at CASology. It is very apropos: toast!

I admit I actually wished that I had a toast (as in bread) stamp, or even one that says “Cheers”. Alas, I was without either of those. But I did have some gold vellum:

I bought this birthday-themed stamp set at a dollar store this summer, and to be honest I have got a lot of use out of it!

I tried three different gold inks until I found one that worked for me. I settled on an American Crafts one that I picked up in a set of metallics from Winners earlier this year.

Like I have said in the past, I find CAS cards difficult but I like the results here! I am inspired to make this year the most creative yet.
