Hey there! The colour challenge at Stamp Ink Paper this week is black, white and a bit of colour:
As February is coming up and I have been seeing so many fantastic black, white and red Valentine’s Day cards, I chose red as my additional colour.
I have been drawn to cards with embossed layers that really add to the texture of the card instead of fading in to the background so I knew I wanted to do an embossed layer today.
I had the machine out, so I also did a bunch of die cuts 🙂 I forget the brand of the dies unfortunately. And yep, those are embossed Xs on the bigger heart die cuts. Awesome!
A simple card, but I totally dig it. I like die cuts more than stamps 😀

I love a good layering and embossing card! It shows you don’t need to use a ton of complicated shapes and supplies and everything. A limited palette makes it works so well!
