CASology 231 – forest

The cue card for week 231 at CASology is forest:

As previously mentioned, I had already packed away my winter and Christmas supplies so I panicked a bit. The result is a bit of a stretch…

I incorporated the colour green and a plant stamp to bring in at least some elements of the traditional concept of forest. I quite like how the lighter ink in the background, darker ink the the foreground and varying heights turned out.

On a side note, this reflective gold paper was quite the challenge to photograph without including myself in the picture 😀

Sarah, I love your card — way to improvise after putting away your winter stamps! The green tones are beautiful, especially against the gold card base! So glad you joined in the fun at CASology!
