Fusion card challenge – 3rd anniversary

I had been meaning to take part in the Fusion card challenge for a while now, and it happened to be their third anniversary! challenge that I took the plunge:

Here is what I came up with:

I chose both the sketch and the photo. The elements I went with were the brown from the wooden table and trees, the light blue from the snow and the red tea pot.

I embossed the light blue panel to play on the stamped “steam” coming from the tea pot, which is just a flourish stamp. I went over that with a bit of clear glitter Gelly Roll.

The tea pot is embossed with clear embossing powder to give it some shine and texture, some interest in what is otherwise a fairly simple card.

The flourishes and tea pot create a feminine card despite the masculine colours. Perfect for letting Grandma know you are thinking of her!

Thanks for stopping by!
