Hello 🙂 My neighbours recently had a baby boy and I wanted to make them a card to celebrate their first child:
I went with traditional blue and kept the embellishments simple. I could have added something more, but I couldn’t find anything suitable in my stash so I left it as it was.
I love using that die cut for the bunting. It is celebratory and brings some occasion to the card without being sparkly or bright.
The chipboard HI was inked with blue and I like that it turned a bit grey-blue. And of course, once again I am grateful that I picked up that random set of safety pin brads 🙂
They loved the card, and it even led to two more being requested. I will share those dinosaur-themed cards in an upcoming post 🙂
