Freshly Made Sketches #282

I absolutely love Cecile’s sketch for Freshly Made Sketches #282:

How adorable is that!? Once again, I used the opportunity to make a Mother’s Day card:

I know it’s a holiday of flowers, but moms are made of all sorts of women and not all women like flowers or pink. Here I went with stars, red & black and accented with gold.

I used a Jillibean Soup stamp for the sentiment. The red star paper is from the American Crafts Studio Calico Seven Paper Amelia 6×6 pad and the gold star paper is also AC (366135).  The gold star embellishment is Jolee’s Boutique (gold stars cabochons 50-20900).

It’s a card for any rock star mom.
