dragonflies and flowers

I have discovered that I love stenciling backgrounds. If I had more time I think I might do it for the majority of my cards!

Here is a birthday card I made recently to get you in the spring mood. It features a nice stenciled background and some winged friends:

I got the stencil years ago and I can’t remember who it’s made by. It goes with almost anything though! I used a chalk ink to get a softer effect.

I had these adorable little dragonfly stickers that I had been hoarding because they were so cute. The background complimented them perfectly.

I think I have some more of those dragonflies. I should break them out and make something else springy!
